TEN-PIN BOWLING

We take pride in introducing the sport of Ten-Pin Bowling to India, with the establishment of the country’s first bowling alley in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. Our services encompass end-to-end consultancy and project management, facilitating the setup of bowling alleys. This includes procurement of equipment and comprehensive support throughout the process.

Gaming Zones

This game involves knocking down ten pins, spaced 60 feet away, by rolling a urethane ball weighing between 6 lb and 16 lb (depending on the player’s sex and age). Players have ten frames per game, with two attempts per frame to knock down all pins except in the 10th frame, which has special rules.

Scoring is based on the number of pins knocked down. If a player knocks down all ten pins with two throws in a frame, it’s called a “spare.” The points from the next throw after a spare are added to the spare frame’s score. If a player knocks down all ten pins in the first throw, it’s a “strike.” The points from the next two throws are added to the strike frame’s score. A “turkey” is achieved with three consecutive strikes.

The game’s rules are straightforward, and equipment comes in various sizes and styles, suitable for players aged 4 and up. The oldest recorded player was a 104-year-old woman who participated in a competitive bowling league in the US in 1985-1986.

The area and equipment cost

For a bowling alley, the minimum area requirement is 86 feet in length, which includes the lane and approach area, with a width of 12 feet for a pair of lanes, encompassing two lanes and the ball return zone. Each lane should have a height of 10-12 feet.

For an 8-lane bowling center, the total area required ranges from 6000 to 8000 square feet, accommodating alleys, a snack bar, seating arrangements, and other amenities.

In terms of finances, the cost varies depending on equipment configuration and specifications. On average, one lane can cost between $20,000 and $30,000. This price includes the lane, scorer, pinsetter, masking unit, center management system, as well as accessories and spare parts.
